it's sad that i have to post this here, because i fear if I post it on tumblr- i'll incur the wrath of every social justice blogger known to man.
I get the need for social justice. Women needs equal rights to men, and there's also a need for LGTBQ rights to be noticed and accepted into the world community as well as respecting religious beliefs and not forcing your own upon people.
But I'm so tired of being guilted into feeling like I'm a racist, or that I'm a girl that fetishizes gay relationships via my favorite fandoms.
So a majority of shows I watch have heterosexual, white males that I may or may not ship. Do you realize that if they were people of color, or even women, or whatever the hell they identified as that had the right kind of chemistry that I'd be doing the same thing.
And God. Stop accusing writers and directors of white washing their media. It depends on what kind of community they were raised into or who ever is trying out for their show/movie. I went to a Christian high school and there was little to none representation of POC (people of color.)
I'm tired of being labeled as an rapist endorser for enjoying Pewdiepie videos, because he makes rape jokes. I'm not saying that I think rape jokes are appropriate, but I in no way support rape in any shape or form.
I'm so angry. UGH.
You're allowed to have your own opinion, but God, stop hating on people that have their own.
